"On our Central Coast vacation this summer, my family and I took one of the private kayak tours you offer. Folks were friendly, the weather was good, the paddle flawless, and the slow close-up view of the natural wonders of Moss Landing wa awesome. ... we... will highly recommend it to folks traveling your way."

"...our guides were great-- very energetic, knowledgeable, interactive and helpful. For many of us, it was the first time ocean-kayaking, but with careful guidance and attention from your staff, we felt like pros already."

"...Through the ever-changing weather, larger groups and changing plans your staff have maintained the highest degree of professionalism."

"Yesterday my parents and I went with Dave and Rhondi on a guided tour of the Elkhorn Slough. It was truly an amazing experience. Not only was the slough beautiful- teaming with birds, otters and seals- but our guides delighted us with relevant local history and scientific facts. My parents (an avid birder and a retired botanist) spent the rest of the day talking about our trip and discussing all that we saw and learned. Really, really terrific. Thank you so much!!!"

"This email is for Jason, the instructor I had for a private kayak lesson in September in the Santa Cruz Harbor. Jason, I'm mainly emailing to thank you again---- for all your time, patience, pointers and lessons/information on kayaking. I felt I learned a lot of info, plus you made me feel comfortable, so I enjoyed the lesson very much---- except for maybe the "freezing water rescues". HA!!! Again---- thank you."

"We did a private group tour with Sara on Saturday. It was just awesomely great! Sara is a wonderful guide. She was perfect for all the different personalities that we are. Hopefully we weren't too bad for her. My husband was the guy who got dunked. Let me tell you he loved it! He's still smiling about the fun of it all. All seven of us were first-timers to kayaking the Elkhorn Slough and most of us were first-timers to kayaking period... I didn't realize how many tours you had in both Monterey and Santa Cruz. Boy oh boy."
Thank you!

"Cost of gas for the drive to Kayak Connection: $9.40
Kayak rental and tour: $50
Souvenir stuffed dolphin for 2 year old niece: $24.99
Seeing your friend freak out like McCaulay Culkin in "Home Alone" due to a huge sea lion passing under her kayak: PRICELESS
We spotted cute sea otters swimming all around us, tons of sea lions, different types of birds. The water conditions were great for a beginner. Personally I prefer kayak surfing in Costa Rica. Yahoo! But this was perfect for my friends who had never been in a kayak.
Overall: kayak rentals in good condition and guides great and experienced. I am definitely going back during whale watching season."
