We carry a full line of sea kayaks, sit on top kayaks, and recreational kayaks in our retail stores along with a complete line of kayaking accessories. We also carry surf kayaks, stand-up surfboards and paddle boards to round out our offerings of on-the-water toys!

Rental and Instruction

Kayak Connection offers sea kayaking rental and instruction in Santa Cruz and Moss Landing. Our basic 3-class series gives you the necessary skills to begin to explore sea kayaking. More advanced classes are available for those with some experience. There are also special kayaking programs for kids and teens and for families!

Elkhorn Slough, by Moss Landing, is one of 17 estuarine reserves in the United States, and is home to saltwater, freshwater and marshland wildlife -- you'll see a lot of seals, otters, loons, egrets, pelicans and other birds there. Monterey Bay is a National Marine Sanctuary, and we offer sea kayaking tours and paddles at the beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. All of our scheduled tours can be booked as a private tour for you and your friends at a time that is convenient for you. Contact us to set up your time and your tour.
