Beach Entry and Exit Skills
SANTA CRUZ
Learn the art of landing and launching a kayak through the surf. Our highly professional instructors will unveil these skills for you as well as the study of wave dynamics, lulls, currents and sets. The majority of the class will be focused on the best techniques to land and launch kayaks on the beach safely and efficiently. We will also review bracing and open water rescues.
When: 1st and 3rd Sunday of every month
Cost: $65
Duration: 4-5 hours
Intermediate class, prerequisites include: Introduction to Sea Kayaking class
