Weekdays: Monterey Bay Marine Sanctuary
SANTA CRUZ HARBORExplore the wonders of our nation's largest national marine sanctuary and the second largest in the world. This three-hour tour places you in the home of sea otters while paddling through kelp bed forests. Shy harbor seals will follow our route out to Seal Rock where sea lions are gathered in concentrated numbers. Your guide provides you with lively background information on the hidden wonders of the enchanting Monterey Bay in this meeting of land and sea.
When: 9 am, Wednesdays and Fridays (June through August)
Cost: $40 per person
Duration: 3 hours
Please note that the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary Tour is replaced with the Whale Watching Tour during March, April and May.
An introductory tour: No kayaking experience necessary.
