Monterey Bay Wildlife Tour - $65 Per Person
Explore the wonders of our nation’s largest national marine sanctuary with a naturalist guide. Paddle with dolphins, sea otters, seals and sea lions. In the spring months gray whales are often spotted; with summer bringing humpbacks close to shore for an exciting show of feeding behavior.
You’ll also see the iconic views of Santa Cruz from a completely unique vantage point. Twin Lakes Beach, the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, the Santa Cruz Wharf, and Steamer Lane are all favorites on this tour. No kayaking experience necessary.
Sunset Kayak Tour - $60 Per Person
Join us for our most popular outing in Santa Cruz. We meet 2 hours before sunset and go out for a paddle in the company of otters, seals, herons, and pelicans to watch the sky turn pink as the sun sets on the Central Coast.
Paddling a double kayak is a great adventure for both beginners and experts. Bring your friends and have your own sunset adventure out in the Monterey Bay.
No kayaking experience necessary.
Moonlight Paddle Tour - $80 Per Person
This tour begins as the sun sets and moon rises over Santa Cruz.
Our focus for this trip is to enjoy the full moon’s shimmering light on the water and experience paddling in the dark. Bring extra clothing for the cool evenings.

Sunrise Tour - $75 Per Person
This is the perfect tour for those early risers who want to take advantage of the best time to be on the Monterey Bay.
Calm waters, frequent wildlife sightings and reduced crowds make for a meaningful adventure at sea. In the spring months gray whales are often spotted, with summer bringing humpbacks close to shore for a feeding frenzy. No experience necessary, alarm clock required.
Kayak Fishing Clinic - $175 Per Person
Want to try kayak fishing for the first time, or hope to pick up some tips and tricks of the trade from a local expert?
Just a short paddle from our dock at the Santa Cruz Harbor are a number of areas productive for rockfish, lingcod and halibut from May through October! Clinics are limited to six people per guide, so book your weekend trip now.
A valid CA fishing license is required. All kayak equipment, rods and reels will be provided. Participants supply their own basic tackle items, but will receive a small tackle box with rock cod jigs, sabiki rigs, weights, swim bait, as well as a bag of sliced squid.
Sea Kayak Club - $275 Per Person (5 weeks)
Sea Kayak Club is the best way to improve your confidence on the water in closed-decked kayaks, while enjoying the fun and camaraderie of a supportive paddling group of new paddle buddies.
We paddle from the Santa Cruz Harbor or in the Elkhorn Slough at each club meeting. Sessions include teachings from Coastal Sea Kayaking levels 1 through 4 including basic strokes, rescues, bracing, and navigating. The club meets every Sunday, rain or shine!
At the end of the scheduled sessions, you can purchase an optional club membership card (5 half day rentals) for $100. This is a special deal for Sea Kayak Club members only and will help you practice your new skills. No experience necessary.
Private Group Tours - $75 Per Person
You can book any of our beginner or intermediate Monterey Bay tours for your group if the times that are listed don’t fit your schedule, or if you want more privacy.
We also customize our private tours to your specific requests or event theme (i.e. Birthday Parties, Bachelor/Bachelorette Parties, Team Building, Kayak Camping Preparedness Training).
